Dark Red, Waterlily Rare
Waterlily dahlias — flat, open, saucer-shaped blooms — come in almost every colour except one that’s easy to find: truly dark red. Hollyhill Black Widow is one of the few.
The bloom is a deep, almost-black red that holds its colour well rather than fading in the sun, set against dark green foliage that makes the whole plant look a little dramatic.
The blooms sit upright on long stems, which makes them easy to work with in arrangements — no fighting with a floppy neck to get the flower facing the right way.
